I cannot imagine a place more close to my heart to be in Easter time, than Meteora, in Greece. Apart from the usual monastery circuit you can choose unbeaten paths that brings you to old churches and splendid views. From Kastraki you can easily rich the small monastery Aghia Trias Asketirion, you can choose the path climbing near the high stone walls, up to Aghio Pnevma / Holy Spirit, or you can find yourself in the back of the Agios Varlaam church after a nice and interesting walk through the woods, where your imagination will indulge in fantasies.
